Lucy studied Veterinary Nursing Science at Hartpury College before moving down to Devon for her first qualified job in 2017. Before joining Optivet Referrals she worked as a night nurse in Emergency and Critical Care, which is where she completed her ECC certificate and also locumed in various referral practices.
Lucy joined Optivet Referrals Devon in April 2023 as Lead Registered Veterinary Nurse and she is loving the Ophthalmology side of Veterinary Nursing.
She owns a blue eyed German Shepherd X called Gus and a ginger cat called Nacho. Her personal hobbies include running, coast walks and hikes with Gus, sea swimming and playing the piano.
